Twelve <a href="http://www.st-nicholas.kent.sch more info here.uk/”>St Nicholas School students came to a factory visit with us recently. They got to see their new Omnibus unit being manufactured and choose some of the finishing touches. They were taken on a factory tour and were taught all about the process of producing playground equipment. The children were very excited to test out some of the play features and be involved in the design process. They were even the first to play with some of our new interactive play equipment, which is coming soon.
We designed the brand new Inclusive Play Omnibus multi play unit for St Nicholas’ School, near Canterbury. They were looking for a multi play unit that could be accessed by wheelchairs but also allowed able bodied children to play alongside them to enjoy the benefits of sensory play.
The Omnibus will be accompanied at St Nicholas School by other Inclusive Play equipment. This includes playground favourites such as the Wheelspin, Mezzo and Orbs, all manufactured here in Kent.
Park Leisure are always looking for ways to develop new play equipment. Involving children in the process is the best way to achieve results that the end user will enjoy. We look forward to installing the new Omnibus.Tags: design, playground, School
