Project Background

Five Acre Wood School approached Park Leisure requesting a possible solution for revamping their play area on a limited budget. Primarily timber equipment would need to be used on a natural looking surfacing.

It was important that the work could be carried out during the Easter break as to cause minimal interruption to the school.

Customer Feedback

Five Acre Wood School have been very pleased with the entire process from the consultation period all the way through design and finally installation. We scheduled in all work to be completed whilst the children were not in school so we could minimise the disruption caused by machinery.

The project has been a pleasure to work on as we have seen how much the children have enjoyed their new play area.

Students were delighted to return from their Easter break to find that a new adventure trail had been installed on the field.

“We are so pleased to have been able to enhance our play provision for our students in this way.  We would like to thank our funders who have made this possible –  £5,000 was donated to us by a company who wish to remain anonymous; we received £3,000 from the Lloyds Bank Community Fund and £600 from help a Maidstone Child.  The balance was made up by our supporters – by funds raised through events such as the 2014 Summer Fair and by amazing individuals who have taken part in sponsored events for us.  Thank you everyone!”
